SHIPPING, RETURN AND WARRANTY

Not only getting a slim made should be simple, but also returning it in case you are not convinced.
Of course you have a statutory right of withdrawal if you purchase a watch via this shop. A return of an article in this context is also possible like this:

  • Within the first 14 days after you received your slim made watch you simply write an email to hello@slim-made.com and let us know that you would like to return your watch. Of course this is entirely free of charge and you don’t need to give any explanations. As we want to improve our offering in the future, it would be great if you would let us know what we could do better or why the watch did not meet you expectations. But again, this is totally up to you.
  • Please add your name, address and customer number to the email.
  • After we receive all your information we will email you a return shipping form that already includes all your data.
  • Simply print it and stick it on the shipping carton. Put your slim made in the original product box, place it in to the shipping box and send it back to us.
  • As soon as we receive the watch back and all is fine, we will refund your money within 14 days.

Again in very short:

  • Email within 14 days to hello@slim-made.com
  • Include name, address, and customer number
  • We email the return sticker to you
  • Print the form and stick to shipping box
  • Put the watch back in the original product box, place it in the shipping box and send it back to us
  • We refund the money

Simple, no!?

Warranty

Sorry my friend, the next paragraph will sound more formal than we usually like it.
In addition to the buyers statutory rights (supplementary performance, revocation of the contract or reduction of purchase price, damages) that may exist in case the product has already a defect at the time the risk is passing on the buyer, we provide the following warranty:

We, the Blackboard GmbH, Mittelweg 117A, 20149 Hamburg warrant the faultless functionality of our watch sold worldwide in respect of its movement, hands and dial for the period of 2 (two) years from purchase date stated by the invoice. The warranty is given to the original buyer only and can’t be transferred to other persons.

The warranty does not cover any defects caused by inappropriate handling of the watch or accidents. The warranty expires as soon as the watch is repaired or modified by persons not authorized on our part or as soon as such measures are undertaken by those persons.

The warranted performance is restricted to reparation or substitution of the defect watch only. In case of a defect within the warranty period we choose between reparation and substitution of the watch by the same model. The warranty is only granted upon presentation of the defective watch, the invoice and evidence for the defect appeared within the warranty period. This evidence is also given by sending the defective watch to us within the warranty period.

Performing our warranty we send the watch repaired or substituted to the buyer at our risk and costs. However, the buyer sends the watch to us on his/her risk and costs. To check the warranty claim in advance we recommend sending us an e-mail with a photo of the defect watch, a description of the problem and a copy of the invoice. We then get in contact with the buyer as soon as possible.

Blackboard GmbH, Mittelweg 117A, 20149 Hamburg

These Standard Terms and Conditions and Customer Information apply for all deliveries from Blackboard GmbH, Mittelweg 117A, 20149 Hamburg, to consumers.
A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction (here: order for goods) for purposes which cannot primarily be attributed to either his commercial or his self-employed professional activities.

2. Contract partner
The contract of purchase is formed with Blackboard GmbH, Mittelweg 117A, 20149 Hamburg, entered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Hamburg under the Commercial Register number HRB 123773.

3. Offer and conclusion of the contract
3.1. The presentation of the products in the Online Shop does not represent any legally binding offer, but merely an invitation to place an order. Subject to errors.
3.2. Before you place your electronic order, a summary will be shown which will give you the opportunity to check and, if necessary, correct your order or to cancel the process. Only through clicking the button “Buy” do you place a binding order for the goods listed on the order page. However, the contract is only concluded when you have initiated the respective mode of payment selected. In the case of payment by credit card without any special security procedure (i.e. without SecureCode, 3-D Secure etc.) the contract is concluded already when the button “Buy” is clicked, and you will simultaneously receive a corresponding confirmatory e-mail which contains all the contract data, including the following Right of Cancellation Notice. However, in the case of payment by credit card with a special security procedure (i.e. SecureCode, 3-D Secure etc.) and in the case of all other modes of payment, you will, after clicking the button “Buy”, first be routed to the website of the respective payment service provider. Only through the initiation there of the payment process, which we confirm to you directly through on-screen display and by e-mail, is the contract concluded. The confirmatory e-mail contains all the contract data, including the Right of Cancellation Notice.
3.3. The order for the goods, together with the terms and conditions of contract, will be stored by us up until performance of the contract. You will have been provided with this data in the form of the e-mail sent in accordance with Clause 3.2 following the conclusion of the contract. In addition, you have the possibility of storing and/or printing out the text of the contract when placing the order.
3.4. The contract language for customers is, at their option, (see the header of the website under slow-watches.com) German or English.

4. Right of cancellation
As a consumer (see Clause 1, para. 2, above), you have a statutory right of cancellation.

Notice of Right of Cancellation
Right of cancellation
You have the right to cancel this contract within thirty days without specifying reasons.
The cancellation period amounts to thirty days as from the date on which you or any third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.
In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (Blackboard GmbH, Mittelweg 117A, 20149 Hamburg; Phone: +49 40 71668941; E-Mail: hello@slim-made.com) by means of an unambiguous declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail) of your decision to cancel this contract. In order to comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of your exercise of the right of cancellation prior to the expiration of the cancellation period.
Consequences of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we have to refund you for all payments which we have received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs which arose through your having selected a different mode of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us). The refund will be made promptly and at the latest within fourteen days as from the date on which we received the notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this refund, we use the same means of payment as you used in the original transaction unless otherwise expressly agreed with you; in no case will you be charged any fee in connection with this refund. We may refuse to make the refund until we have received the goods back once more or until you have produced proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier point in time.
You have to return or deliver the goods to us without delay and in any event no later than within fourteen days as from the date on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. You comply with the time period provided you send the goods back before the expiration of the period of fourteen days. We will bear the costs of the return of the goods.
You must only pay for any loss in value of the goods where this loss in value is a result of handling of the same by you which was not necessary for the purpose of inspecting the quality, features and functionality of the goods.

5. Possibility in the case of return of goods free of charge
Where you are entitled to return goods to us free of charge, you can also do this by using the service “DHL RETOUR Online” at our expense. For this purpose, you need to inform us in text form (e-mail or letter) of your wish to return the goods, and you will receive by e-mail a pre-completed return shipment label which you simply need to print out.
